The structure of Toastmasters
Each Toastmasters club is made up of an executive (see ours). These positions are elected yearly by the club members. These positions include Sergeant-At-Arms, Treasurer, Secretary, VP Public Relations, VP Membership, VP Education, and President. Generally the Past President from the previous executive term sits on the executive as well.
A club, for reference, will generally have 15-20 members in it.
Every 4-5 clubs make up an area. The area is administered by an Area Governor.
Every 4-5 areas makes up a division. The division is administered by a Division Governor.
In District 21, there are 10 divisions. The district is administered by a district executive committee which has positions including Treasurer, Secretary, Public Relations Officer, Lt Governor Marketing, Lt Governor Education and Training, and District Governor. The Past District Governor generally sits on the executive as well.
