First Steps - Who What Where
Welcome to Prince George Toastmasters! Congratulations on taking the first step in your communications and leadership journey!
We meet on Thursday evenings at AiMHi, 950 Kerry Street. Our expectation is that you will be there by 6:45 PM for a 7:00 PM meeting start. As a rule, we have experienced members in attendance prior to that time if you want to come and discuss anything one-on-one.
We use Easy-Speak for our agenda planning. You can access this at http://agenda.pgtoastmasters.com/ .
In a practical sense, you will receive a weekly email from Easy-Speak asking you to confirm that you will be attendance for the meeting. Please click on the link to indicate whether you are attending or not. We entirely understand if you have another commitment for the evening and can't attend. If you are attending, though, then we will make sure that you have a suitable role on the agenda. If we don't know you're attending then it's hard to set you up for success!
When you are ready to give a speech then you can speak to our Vice President of Education Mike Carr <firstname.lastname@example.org> or request it via Easy-Speak if you prefer. We accommodate all speaking requests up to the start of the regular meeting - don't worry if there are already a lot of speeches scheduled, we will always make room.
If you need to cancel at the last second then please contact Vice President of Education Mike Carr <email@example.com> or message via Easy-Speak. Mike will watch for messages up to the start of the meeting.
